Gigapixel images hold infinite potential, there are still questions left not just unanswered but not even raised concerning its possibilities in web development.

Our work with gigapixel panoramas started out as a venture into virtual tourism. We created virtual observation points based on Austrian observation towers and cities and infused them with not only our idea of Environmental Narrative Experience, but also our concept of showing reality in as high a resolution as it is technically possible.

Our visions have further expanded when we have been commissioned for creating gigapixel panoramas with social media tagging – extremely useful for both entertainment and compiling databases as well. Thus, we have created the first ever grandiose digital business card of a country.
